Quickchat can be shut down. Maybe, but RuneScape gold many people will still be furious. Eliminate the players? However, that means eliminating the players who are part of the community and those who help grow the game. It's the mentality of the people who are responsible for the offense that needs to be dealt with.
But this is a real person, and the game itself is not able to change the person. I hope this has provided you with something to think about I'll end with the same query that I began with: do mutes work? We appreciate your attention.
Don't discuss botting programs in this forum Do not discuss botting programs here! I'll report your post quickly to moderators. !... Being a free player and having played prior to the trade restrictions, I was full aware of the bots there were in the game. Now that there are trade restrictions put in place it is reasonable to conclude that macroing has changed from the private Gold Farmers sector to the public "Players" sector and Gold Farmers would have pretty much changed their ways.
I was able observe a macroing program at a friend's house, and have witnessed macros woodcutting during my old mains' rise to 99 woodcutting before the trade update. JaGeX introduced trade restrictions to prevent botters. The restrictions did not work. It's only caused the private "Gold Farmers" alter their methods of earning money. The current method is to sell botting software and then pass the profits on to the Players. There are some for free.
From my experience I have noticed a little less botters than before, but the only reason why it would seem that there are SIGNIFICANTLY less is that it's not level 3 characters performing the task. I've seen a bot cut yews by a level 80 character, and a bot kill cows by a level 45 player. I've also heard that bots could be used to cheap RS gold increase players' skills up to 99.
