How to Delete a Credit on Quickbooks, generate a credit memo report by following the steps outlined below:
Open QuickBooks and go to the Reports tab, then select Customers and Receivables.
To proceed, select the Transaction List by Customer from the new drown-down list.
Select the Customize Report option, then navigate to the Filters tab.
In the Choose Filter search area, type Transaction Type.
Click Transaction Type, and then select Credit Memo from the drop-down menu that appears.
Click OK to view all Credit Memos in QuickBooks Desktop.
Now that you have a list of all Credit Memos, you can settle an overdue invoice in one of four ways:
Make a credit and refund the amount overpaid.
Make a journal entry to deduct the amount.
Apply the credit to the following invoice.
Apply the credit to another unpaid invoice.
Remove a credit from an invoice
To display the transaction history, press Ctrl + H.
Double-click the invoice and select Apply Credits.
On the Previously Applied Credits window, clear the selection for credit.
On the Apply Credits window, select Done.
On the invoice, select Save and Close.
